Caught on the Web

In the spider web of facts, many a truth is strangled. – Paul Eldridge

I think this is a frame within a frame, no? I think so! I visited a park next to the library and took a ton of photos, but I just didn’t love any of them.

This is actually the railing on the bridge, near our house. Believe it or not, I stumbled on the web while chasing a crow! 😉

Below is a sketchy black and white version. Again… I can never decide which is better- but I think I like the more natural version better this time.

It didn’t occur to me until I was looking at it on the computer that maybe I should have carefully removed that leaf or whatever that is that’s stuck in there. I’m hoping it’s not eggs!

I might go look again, now that the sun is going down. I’m curious to see how a spider web looks in the dark, with a flash. We shall see!

I’m going to go through the park shots again too, just to see if I missed something exciting.

I hope everyone had (or has) a wonderful day!

Until later-

  1. This qualifies as a frame within a frame….I’m inspired 😀. I like the color version better. The brown spider contrasts well with the green background. That gets lost in the monochrome version. Easy decision. At least the wifi works on this train, the coffee is horrible…..
