Love’s Poetry

Nuances.

The rhythm slows,

Lights flicker,

A room once bright,

Is now dimly lit.

Hearts ache,

Bittersweet,

The pieces laid out,

Never seem to fit.

The clock races,

Time stands still,

A story ends,

But will never quit.
