Abstract-Hearts Intertwined

Hearts Intertwined

Forever & Ever Amen

I’m interrupting the Alphabet Game for a little abstract fun. A big thank you to Brashley Photography for the challenge, and for the extremely useful instructions on “How to Twirl in Photoshop.”

This is my submission for Photo of the Week-53-Abstract, and how fun it was to make!! These are a few of my favorite fuchsias, incognito, with a little country twang to help them twirl in rhythm.

Peace & Love… Keep on twirling on. 😉

Spreading Wings

This morning I heard rustling and chirping in the garden and saw a little white bird hopping from flower to flower. I must have a thing for wings because as soon I saw the wing on this shot I knew that I had to make it work.  The bird was very tiny and I was too far away, so it took quite a bit of tinkering, but at least the wind stands out.

Tree of Love

No winter lasts forever; no spring skips it’s turn. Hal Borland

A dear friend of mine gave us this tree when my dad passed away, and we planted it in a memorial garden in the backyard. Needless to say, watching all of these little heart shaped leaves spring forth every year is extra special.

Have a beautiful day everyone! ♥♥♥

Think Pink

Keep calm and pink on.

I had to do something light before I left because I’m really wanting to shoot for subtle lately. Not sure it’s exactly subtle, but it’s definitely pink!

It’s actually flowers from our backyard, taken today, with a background layer of snow and sky. I think it was a cool blend! Almost looks like some water reflection going on.

Have a beautiful rest of the day (or evening) everyone!

Peace and love…

Street Life

A Grandson’s Kisses are Like Tattoos on Your Heart.

This was a fun shot today. My grandson and I noticed the cute little flower dangling near the ground on our way to the donut shop. He’s a pretty cooperative subject if his face doesn’t have to be in the photo.

This was the first time I tried a color splash, so I was excited about that as well!
